Jon Fukuda

Co-Founder

Designing the conditions for better outcomes.

Jon Fukuda has spent more than two decades helping organizations turn human-centered intentions into the way they actually work.

As co-founder and Chief Experience Officer of Limina, his work has spanned research, UX strategy, design, digital transformation, and organizational operations. That experience has reinforced a simple lesson: a better experience isn’t just a design outcome. It’s an organizational outcome.

Research can identify a need. Designers can create a solution. Accessibility specialists can identify a barrier. But sustainable change depends on what happens around that work: who knows what, who makes decisions, how responsibility is shared, how work moves, and whether an organization can learn and improve.

Through Limina and his work in Design Operations, Jon has helped organizations build the systems that connect human-centered practice to everyday delivery. He is also a longtime contributor to the UX community, including curating Rosenfeld Media’s DesignOps Summit and leading the Denver-Boulder chapter of DesignOps Assembly.

What Jon brings to Liminally

At Liminally, Jon brings an organizational and operational lens to accessibility.

His focus is on the system that produces accessible experiences: how people are trained, how responsibility is distributed, how accessibility enters workflows, how knowledge is shared, and how progress becomes visible.

The goal isn’t simply to make today’s product accessible.

It’s to make the organization more capable of creating accessible products tomorrow.
