Maria Taylor has spent more than two decades building and leading a human-centered business.

As co-founder and CEO of Limina, she has guided the company since 2003, working with teams, clients, enterprises, and government organizations on experience design, accessibility, and human-centered transformation.

Maria began her career as a UX specialist and designer. As Limina grew, her responsibilities expanded from designing experiences to leading the organization responsible for delivering them.

That means understanding something every organization eventually discovers: good intentions have to survive contact with the real world.

Teams need resources. Responsibilities need owners. Leaders have to make choices. Clients need commitments they can trust. And programs have to remain viable through competing priorities and organizational change.

Maria brings that pragmatic executive perspective to Liminally.

She helps ensure that our training, consulting, remediation, and accessibility operations aren’t simply good ideas. They need to be valuable, deliverable, responsible, and sustainable.

Accessibility asks organizations to make a promise: to include people rather than unnecessarily exclude them.
